Dr. Elaine Hussey, O.D. practiced in the Portland area for 10 years prior to joining Eyecare Associates in 1990. 

Dr. Hussey was born and raised in the Midwest.  She received her undergraduate degree at Buena Vista College in Iowa.  Her optometry degree was completed at Pacific University College of Optometry in Forrest Grove, Oregon.  While there, Dr. Hussey received the Feinbloom Low Vision Award for her work with the visually impaired. 

A member of both the American Optometric Association and the Oregon Optometric Physicians Association.  Dr. Hussey is certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease, as well as refractive surgery pre and post operative care.  She enjoys working with patients of all ages, with a particular interest in contact lenses.

Dr. Hussey and her family reside in Albany.  She enjoys traveling, gardening, literature and music.
